The objective is to defeat and prevent enemies from entering the Protection Objective. There are 3 classes of enemies from various races, with some having special abilities that you need to watch out for.

Trait

  • First Form
  • [Suppression] Uses Haunting Flames to incapacitate one Operator on the field, causing them to be unable to act and take continuous Arts damage. If an Operator is defeated or retreats while affected by Haunting Flames, that Operator will be sealed, and cannot be redeployed until the Haunting Flames are destroyed.
  • [Payback] When HP drops to 0, all surrounding Operators will immediately be engulfed by Haunting Flames. Periodically releases <Condensed Heat> towards a friendly unit (if no eligible targets, this will be released towards the Objective Points instead).
  • [Condensed Heat] These flying flames released by Sverdsmeltr have low DEF and inflict continuous Arts and Burn damage to surrounding Operators. When they reach their target or the target leaves the field, they will self-destruct and deal Arts damage in a large area. Drains a Life Point upon reaching the Objective Point.
  • Second Form
  • Sverdsmeltr summons his Reforged Retinue and flies into the air. During this period, he will periodically release <Condensed Heat> towards a friendly unit nearby.
  • When all Reforged Retinues are defeated or when Sverdsmeltr falls below 50% HP, Sverdsmeltr will absorb all remaining Reforged Retinues and restore HP. Afterward, he will land on the ground, where he deals long-ranged AoE Arts attacks and gains the following abilities:
  • [Extinction] Incapacitates one Operator on the field, causing them to be unable to act and releasing <Condensed Heat> at them. This <Condensed Heat> has higher HP and damage, and destroying it will allow the targeted Operator to resume acting.
  • [Sunwielder's Sanctuary] After using [Extinction], gains a shield that absorbs a fixed amount of Arts damage. While this shield holds, this unit has greatly increased DEF and deals Arts and Burn damage to surrounding friendly units.
