This massive fluorescent Originium slug carries an enormous number of larvae in the interstices along its massive mantle, making it travel extremely slowly. This type of Originium slug lives deep underground all year round, so it's impossible to guess why it has appeared here. Though not hostile, it has devoured a large quantity of discarded ores and grown massive in size, significantly interfering with the cleanup process.
