[Codename] Flamebringer [Gender] Male [Combat Experience] 15 years [Place of Birth] Kazdel [Date of Birth] December 25 [Race] Sarkaz [Height] 190cm [Infection Status] Originium crystals present on the body. Confirmed Infected by medical examination.

Flamebringer, the self-professed Wandering Sarkaz Warrior, has no personal history besides that which he presented himself. The value of his document is rather limited, being only a list of the names of people who have died at his hands. However, the list does suggest that he is an outstanding swordsman.

Imaging tests reveal blurry outlines of this operator's internal organs, clouded with abnormal dark spots. His circulatory system shows an abnormally high rate of Originium particulate matter, with other signs of Oripathy infection, we can confirm that the operator is indeed Infected. [Cell-Originium Assimilation] 18% The infection has spread far, with the face and neck showing clear signs of Originium erosion. [Blood Originium-Crystal Density] 0.41u/L Having reached mid stage infection levels, and owing to the operator's refusal to cooperate with treatment, the infection is likely to worsen.

This Sarkaz swordmaster is a rare creature at Rhodes Island. Many operators and staff give Flamebringer a wide berth. Most of the time, Flamebringer is a man of few words, prefers to stay by himself, and shows his personal feelings only to the Doctor. At that point, he seems like a completely different person. But behind the arrogant attitude he puts up for the Doctor, there appears to be another side of Flamebringer waiting for something, or perhaps expecting something. After witnessing Flamebringer take a few lives, one must admit that the bloodthirsty madness of the swordmaster is indeed formidable, and of tremendous use on the battlefield. But the duality of this individual is striking, and we must be wary of the relationship between Operator Flamebringer and the Doctor.

Rhodes Island is home to a wealth of combat experience, including some warriors so deep in the fight they struggle to ever leave the battlefield. But Flamebringer does not fit neatly into the roster. His combat skills are second to none, certainly. But he has never seen victory as a goal to be won. He enjoys the process and excitement of taking lives for its own sake. The use of the word 'commitment' with regard to battle is quite peculiar, but Flamebringer's fighting style does give the impression that he is fully committed to the art. Only when facing the razor thin line between life and death will he ever crack a smile. To Flamebringer, that moment is the ecstasy one lives for.

Due to the peculiar nature of this operator, human resources opted to conduct an investigation into his past. There is no doubt that the list of names Flamebringer provided himself is significantly understated. Each name on the list is a person of great importance, with the capacity to personally swing the fate of a battle. In other words, if Flamebringer did indeed take these lives, then his past is far more complicated than we ever imagined. It is necessary for us to conduct a deeper investigation and reevaluate Flamebringer's position as a Rhodes Island Operator. End of record: Dr. Kal'tsit put a stop to the second round of investigations. She believes the Doctor is capable of managing the Flamebringer situation at this point. If he chose to bury his past, digging it up will only cause problems. Or perhaps the people and events that have been buried simply have not yet had their time to reemerge into the story.

As his time with Rhodes Island grew, we came to know that Flamebringer quite enjoys gardening, cultivating potted plants and flowers. It was quite surprising to learn he held on to such 'interests.' Most operators never have a chance to learn about Flamebringer's inner self, and chalk these things up to a kind of 'contrast': a deadly swordmaster returns from the battlefield to care for his flowers. That's it. But of course, it may truly be that simple. That Flamebringer treats these plants, himself, his allies, his enemies, and all living beings with the exact same, unified attitude. We must first gain an understanding of this before we can truly understand Flamebringer. Perhaps this is the reason Flamebringer regards both himself and his enemies so fleetingly. From this perspective, his cold and arrogant attitude may stem from an internal philosophy regarding the nature of life itself.

A true warrior knows no fear of death. He will challenge the limits of life itself again and again, in search of the depths of his own heart, in search of eternal glory, and in search of the greatest skill. The same is true for Flamebringer. He wields his two blades to expand the edges of his destiny. As for why he is so obsessed with this pursuit, perhaps it is to explore the meaning of life itself at this conflict-riddled moment in history. I certainly hope that is it.
{@nickname}, compared to the old ones, today's battle are too relaxed and juvenile . They are weak. Weak enough to make weapons rust. And once a warrior's weapons rust, death soon follows.
Life is but a brief flicker before the vast maw of annihilation. Cherish that view of the sunset while you still can, {@nickname}.
Practical exercises? Nah, I'm not interested. While Rhodes Island boasts many powerful warriors, squandering one's physical strength on a game is wasteful. Only on the edge of life and death does the clashing of swords have value.
I'm not concerned with the plight of the Infected? Hmph, don't misunderstand me - fighting in vain is what I hate. No enemy worth spilling my blood has come forward, and that's all there is to it.

Rampant slaughter liberates your inner instinct, 'teamwork' only robs you of it. What 'trust' and 'strategizing' buy you are nothing but illusions of security. And these illusions, {@nickname}, will one day cost you your life.

This blade ran through two crown princes, and this other one slew three generals. In our chaotic world, anything can happen. I don't know who will claim my life, but on that day, I sure hope it'll be more exciting than when I took these lives.

Shining, huh? A pity, she could have been a worthy adversary. But after she got pulled into that mess with the 'Confessarii,' I bet she felt her blade had been besmirched. Hmph, Swordsmen without faith in their swords are beneath mention.

{@nickname}, you remember that battle, right? After killing all the ambushers, I led the survivors and charged straight into the traitor's fortress. I was the only one who made it out alive. How did it all start? Oh, you know the answer to that. I've seen you before, and my memory is very good.

{@nickname}, help me fetch those seeds in the cupboard, won't you? Thank you. Yes, I'm actually quite fond of flowers. No matter how brilliantly they blossom, their petals must wither and fall into the wind. When will the petals wither next, Doctor?
Vigilance can keep you alive, {@nickname}.
We meet again, {@nickname}. Don't worry, I understand the situation you're in now, and pose no threat to you. I shall be your blade, so use me as you see fit, Doctor.

I have no concept of what it's like to be Infected. Perhaps Rhodes Island can help me understand. I don't care, but if you have your own considerations. Fine, I'll hear them out.
Ahh, I've longed for a hurricane of blood.
I've been a captain before, and it didn't end well.
I will bathe in their blood.
Let's begin.
Do not interfere.
Mind your own business.
So, who shall be my opponent?
Will it be you? Or maybe you?
The blade brings the flame.
The bone falls with blood.
Whose name will you cry as you pass?
I don't give a damn.
Did this battle satisfy you?
A weak enemy proves nothing. Search for a worthier battlefield.
A dedicated opponent will prove to be a worthy adversary in the future, let them do just that.
The rest of you, go. It has always been my job to destroy the pursuing enemy.
It's pretty quiet here.
Yeah?
You're just in time, I find myself in need of a whetstone…
Arknights.
Not bad, you're still alive.
